Panel 1
Largish panel. Re-establish the scene. The Gamma Conqueror, surrounded by its six Beta-class ships, are each faced against a small mining ship which has its cutting laser pointed directly at their bridges. Important: the Beta ships are arranged so that none of them can fire at any of the mining ships with their fixed-position laser guns. We might see a bit of Ceres' surface in the lower right corner.

Harris (from inside the Gamma): Don't just sit there, shoot those gnats down!

Weapons officer (also from inside the Gamma): We can't, sir!

Panel 2
Inside the GC bridge, the Weapons Officer unhappily explains the situation.

Weapons: Our ships are only configured to shoot down at planetary surfaces.

Harris: Well, for god's sake, turn the damned ships so that we can ...
Panel 3
Same shot. A voice on the hailing frequency stops Harris in mid-rant.

Voice: Admiral, I wouldn't advise doing anything foolish. This is the, uh, HMS Split-Tail.

Voice (2): We will laser your ships to ribbons if you attempt to make any maneuvers.

Panel 4
Medium shot of Harris, red-faced and shouting. One of his officers can be seen in the background, looking more worried than angry.

Harris: You don't scare me, bitch! We will fight to the last man.

Panel 5
Cut to Guy at his console. His eyes light up with delight.

Guy (thought): Is that Fiorella's voice?


Panel 6
Inside the Split-Tail, we see it is indeed Fiorella at the communications console. She has one raised eyebrow and a wry grin.
Fiorella: Bitch? You'll probably get a PC citation for that when you … if you get home.

Panel 7
Closer shot at Fiorella. She looks like the cat who has the mouse cornered.
Fiorella: No matter, we have the drop on you, so reach for the sky, pardner.

Fiorella (2): It's time for you to surrender.
