On Their Way....
This is a message for the IGG QV9 backers! For those of you who ordered physical perks, they are on their way via USPS. For those of you who selected one or more of the PDF perks, you should have received an email from DriveThruComics.com. That email contains links to the vouchers you need to download your copy of the PDF you requested.
If you haven't seen it yet, be sure to check your spam folder. If you still can't find the email from DriveThruComics, let us know and we'll get the links you need.
Signing and Shipping
Scott has finished autographing all the books, and we've started shipping them out. Your physical perks should show up in the next week or so (might be a bit longer for international shipments). We expect to send out vouchers (via email) to those who wanted the PDF e-books.
Once again, many thanks to our backers. Stand by for further updates.
The Transcript For This Page
Panel 1
Still at the knife fighting class. Guy and Wally square off, holding their wooden knives “icepick” stile for close combat as Bryce watches from nearby. Guy is a bit larger than Wally yet, but the match isn't horrendously lopsided. Wally puts on a show of bravado.
Wally: Watch yerself, Terry. Amina cut ya.
Panel 2
Wally thrusts, Guy easily parries with his left palm against Wally's wrist.
Guy: Aha! Playing with the psychology, eh?
Panel 3
Guy now holds Wally's knife arm with his left wrist while he thrusts the wooden knife at the boy's torso, jabbing him in the solar plexus (not breaking skin, of course). The jab stuns Wally.
Guy: But my name is not 'Terry,' it is Guy. Please remember that.
Panel 4
Guy has now whirled the boy around so that he's behind the lad and has the boy's right arm pinned while he's reached around with his own knife and has it pressed against the boy's throat.
Wally: Believe me, I don't forget a lesson.
