The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
A burner (about twice the size of the one which carried Guy Caillard to Ceres, way back when), is arcing across space.
Babbette (from the burner): So, what's so special about Mercury?
Babbette (thought): My man loves to lecture.
Panel 2
Reverse view so that we see the burner arcing past the Sun, which at this point looks more than twice the size as seen from Earth.
Reggie: One, the sun is two and two-thirds the size it appears from Terra. That's over seven times as wide as seen from Ceres.

Panel 3
Inside Babbette and Reggie's modest stateroom aboard the burner. It's a bit smaller than a Motel 6 room. Reggie is counting on his fingers; at the moment he has two of them pointing outward from his right hand.
Reggie: Two, it has the largest and most advanced paraterraformed habitats in the Solar System.
Reggie: They are magnificent.

Panel 4
Closer two-shot on Reggie and Babbette, who is giving him a questioning look.
Reggie: 'Paraterraforming,' or PTF, is the creation of Terra-like environments under an atmosphere cap – a transparent 'roof' as it were.
