The Transcript For This Page

Panel 1
Re-establish the scene: Guy, Pierre, Sherwood, Rosenberg, Henry, Suki, the koi ponds (which are now very important), the bambo beyond.
Rosenberg: Please, Sv LeBoeuf! I have not finished.
Rosenberg: The field of combat is in the central koi pond, immediately behind me.
Panel 2
Medium close-up on Pierre, looking shocked.
Pierre: What! Uh … how deep is it?

Panel 3
Sherwood steps forward to answer Pierre's question. Include Pierre and Rosenberg in the shot, with Henry and Suki behind him. Sherwood, Rosenberg, Henry and Suki are grinning.
Sherwood: It varies between about 160 and 165 centimeters.

Panel 4
Medium shot of Pierre, about to blow his stack. Guy, also grinning, stands by.
Pierre: But, that's nearly to the top of my head!
Pierre: This pédé would have the advantage! That is not fair!

Panel 5
Medium close-up of Rosenberg, smiling a bit as he speaks. Leave plenty of room for the dialog.
Rosenberg: But fighting with swords would have given you a clear advantage over Sv Freeman.
Rosenberg: You had no problem with that, did you?
Rosenberg: Yet, you complain if the circumstances favor your opponent.

Panel 6
Two-shot of Rosenberg and Pierre. Pierre can barely contain his rage.
Rosenberg: Sv LeBoeuf, you have two choices.
Rosenberg: Swim – or sleep – with the fishes or abandon your challenge. Which shall it be?

Panel 7
Pierre, his face very red, stalks away from the group, towards the right side of the panel. In the middle ground, Guy addresses the group. He is partly turned so that we can see him grinning. The rest of the group is all smiles.
Guy: As Second for Sv Pierre LeBoeuf, I hereby abandon his challenge to Sv Freeman.
