The wall behind is festooned with framed photographs of all kinds, mostly with people, a few with a sailboat or a dirigible. Somewhere there's a wide frame featuring the logo for the Below Stairs Tattler blog. A filing cabinet to one side. A bookshelf on another. A pair of simple chairs in front of the desk, facing it.
