The Transcript For This Page
Panel 1
Leon is still rambling. Terry is sitting on the couch, she's obviously irritated that Leon is taking forever in explaining why Cisco is the blackmailer.
Leon: The one thing Cisco wanted most, though, was to go into space. He was an early space tourist on a Virgin Galactic sub-orbital flight, but told me later that it just wasn't enough.
Leon: Anyway, long story short...
Panel 2
Zoom out so we have a wider view of the living room. Leon and Terry are very small.
Leon: He used his money and connections to investigate everyone in the launch business. BALListic was put under the microscope and he thought some things just didn't add up.
Leon: I don't know how, but he ferreted out our offshore connections, cut-outs and so forth.
Panel 3
A flashback panel of Leon looking concerned and Cisco talking to him.
Leon (Narration): He came to me and told me what he knew. Man, was I worried. But you can guess the rest. He basically said,
Cisco: Take me, or read about your plan in the New York Times.
Panel 4
Medium close-up of Leon with one of his arms up in a "what am I gonna do" stance.
Leon: I don't like to be extorted, but he brought his skills as a pilot, his money and— most important—his connections, to the table.
Leon: So, I said, yes.
