Second times a charm. The epic QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War story concludes with Part 3, and we require funds to publish a print volume. To sweeten the pot a bit, a 3 pack of the print and PDF copies of all three parts of the This Means War story is a new perk. Week 15: Cold Wait

Back in the Carbon Ops control room, Kent is at one of the keyboard terminals, with Bert, Fran, and the other two operators from before – Jay and Weez -- gathered around behind him. The large holo-display (which we can see from behind) has a half-dozen information windows of various sizes displayed.

Fran: Iron Works 2 looks completely dark.

Jay: No contact with Ice Surveyor Team.

Weez: At least Central looks unaffected.

Bert: What about my friends in Corridor 12?

Closer focus on Kent, with Bert (and maybe one or two of the others) over his shoulder

Kent: I’ve notified Central, but they don’t know anything we don’t already.

Bert: Any idea what happened?

Pull back again so we can see all the characters. Kent is still looking at his display, but the rest of them are looking at each other.

Kent: Seismics says something smacked Ghetty hard, near Corridor 12.

Kent (2): It’s a miracle Lorna and your friends are still alive.
